Welcome to Fable, operated by Kant Associates LLC. By downloading or using the Fable app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
Using the App
Fable provides audio stories for children ages 4–6. You may use Fable for personal, non-commercial use only. You agree not to:
- Reproduce, redistribute, or resell any Fable content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose
Our Content
All stories, characters, and audio content in Fable are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright law. Your use of Fable grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and listen to content within the app for personal use. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our content outside of the app.
No Account Required
Fable does not require you to create an account. Listening progress is stored locally on your device and is not accessible to us. You can delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app.
Availability
We work hard to keep Fable available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue the app or any part of it at any time without notice.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Fable is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Fable and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
